Looking Forward Activities supports people with learning disabilities and autism in Cheshire to learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy new opportunities in a safe and supportive environment.

We believe in passionate support and positive outcomes, helping every member grow in confidence, develop their strengths and feel proud of what they achieve.

Most importantly, Looking Forward Activities is about friendship, opportunity and enjoying life.

Things to do at LFA

Looking Forward Activities offers a range of purpose-built spaces where members can learn new skills, relax and enjoy different experiences.

Learning and Life Skills

  • Teaching kitchen for cooking and food preparation

  • Vegetable growing area to learn about gardening and healthy food

  • Independent living room where members can learn everyday skills such as bed making, ironing and other practical tasks that support independence

Creativity and Expression

  • Arts and crafts space for creative projects

  • Cinema room for films and group activities

  • Music and dance activities including karaoke, silent discos and dancing

Sensory and Relaxation Spaces

  • Sensory room designed for calming and sensory experiences

  • Reading room for quiet time and relaxation

  • Sensory garden enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful environment

We operate in line with recognised regulatory standards, with robust safeguarding procedures, comprehensive risk assessments , appropriate insurance, and ongoing staff training in place.

Our dedicated Quality and Compliance Manager oversees safeguarding, policies and risk management to ensure we consistently maintain high standards across all areas of our service.

Ben consistently goes above and beyond, showing true leadership, compassion, and dedication every single day. This recognition is so well deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder of the difference he makes to the lives of the people we support.

 

We are also absolutely thrilled to share that Michelle has been named a Finalist for the Outstanding Contribution (Independent) Award!

Michelle’s passion, commitment, and unwavering drive to improve opportunities and outcomes for people with learning disabilities is truly inspiring. This recognition reflects years of hard work, vision, and impact.
 

To have both Ben and Michelle recognised at a national level is something very special for us all at Looking Forward Activities.
