Activities and Opportunities
There is always something happening at Looking Forward Activities
Members can join in with a wide range of opportunities, learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy time with friends.
Members choose what they would like to do each day, so everyone can take part in activities that interest them.

A Typical Day at LFA
Members start the day by arriving, enjoying a hot or cold drink and having a chat with friends before the day’s activities begin.

There are always several activities taking place at the same time, alongside our regular off-site opportunities, giving everyone plenty of choice about what to join in with. The day is divided into three parts – one in the morning and two in the afternoon. During the day there are break times to relax, socialise, play pool or enjoy time in the sensory room.

A freshly prepared home-cooked lunch or a sandwich is enjoyed together before the afternoon activities begin.

Important Information
To attend our activities, you need to be registered with Looking Forward Activities. This helps us ensure we can provide the right support and keep everyone safe.
The only exception is for pre-organised sessions where individuals attend with their own Personal Assistant.
Here's what people say about our activities:
“My son loves attending LFA . We have seen him mature and thrive in this environment. He has made many friends there. He particularly enjoys attending the varied Activize activities which take place on Tuesdays, going to the pub and bowling on a Wednesday Evening, on a Thursday he is excited to go to the farm.”
